MOUNTAIN RESCUE UAV

The mountain air rescue is confronted with many difficulties such as reachability to the accident scene, mist and wind, forcing pilots to stay on the ground and leave the patient care to the ground forces. To unburden the ground troops the carrier drone can transport survival kits to the accident scene. These kits are equipped with first aid resources, nutrition, mountaineering equipment and resources to prevent hypothermia. That is giving accident victims time before the actual rescue process can be initiated.

The compact dimensions of the drone allows the operator to enter difficult terrains that are not accessible to helicopters.

The four rotor design and the slimmer wind attack surfaces offer more wind stability and access to higher air in comparison to rescue helicopters.

Features

  • If there is not enough spacing to land, the drone is equipped with a gripper arm system that is cappable to lower down the containers to the accident scene up to three meters. Four cabel winches preventing unwanted oscillations of the equippement through wind and secure a safe unload.

  • Hand grips are giving the possibility to carry the drone per hand. That allows rescue forces to carry it within and just throw it out of another air vehicle. The Drone then bypasses the last remaining meters to the accident scene. Even catching it right out the air is imaginable if the terrain make it difficult to land the drone.

  • The Containers measure 450 x 430 x 60 and have a volume capacity of 11 litres each. They can be droped sequently or in a bundle. The drone is capable to carry up to three containers with different equipping.
